Tactical Retreat Unplugged is a unique off grid boutique venue set in the hills of Appalachia. We offer an off grid experience, perfect for musician workshops, writers retreats or Yoga events. We have off grid housing (new bunkhouse) for 10. Our venue includes a new zipline, platform hammocks, labrynth, ice bath therapy and walking trails. Our main fire pit meeting area is unlike any other as is our Yoga​/​exercise pad.

Our new bunkhouse has luxury off grid sleeping (memory foam) mattresses in bunk style setting. It is expertly furnished with hardwood floors and cozy decor. Our Pirate cabin sleeps two, with an adjoining bathroom. This cabin is decorated with a nod to a life at sea.

What makes this property lovable!

We aim to be an off grid experience. We ask that cell phones and iPads be left in cars upon arrival. Our retreat is fully entrenched in a forest of maples, hickory, and oak trees. Our trails weave through a quiet, natural setting near a small mountain stream. A labyrinth allows for tranquil meditation and our zipline encourages excitement and joy.

What parts of the property are accessible to retreat guests?

The entire retreat property is accessible to attendees and everyone is encouraged to fully utilize all that we have to offer.
