Hello, I'm Alice D.
Meet Alice, a nomadic and passionate soul! With a background in architecture and events management, Alice brings a diverse tapestry of experiences to her clients. Drawn to the transformative power of sports, she encountered yoga at the tender age of 17, when she started her path practicing and studying philosophy and Buddhism, setting the stage for a lifelong love affair. In 2016, while living amidst the rugged beauty of Lisbon in Portugal, Alice felt the call of the waves and fell in love for surfing. Since then, surf and yoga have become inseparable companions, guiding her across continents and shaping her journey wherever she roams. Alice, embarked on a journey of self-discovery through the art of yoga, weaving her passion for movement with the wisdom of ancient teachings. Her teaching path began in the timeless streets of Rome in 2017, where she underwent her first teacher training, before honing her craft under the guidance of renowned instructor Jason Crandell in San Francisco, California, for her second teacher training, achieving in this way RYT 500 hours of yoga teacher training. She is specialized in Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin yoga, with attention to body anatomy and injuries. A seasoned traveler, Alice has wandered far and wide, yet wherever she goes, yoga remains her steadfast anchor. It is in the rhythm of her breath, the strength of her body, and the depth of her spirit that she finds solace and sanctuary. Driven by a deep-seated belief in the interconnectedness of all things, Alice has pioneered yoga and surf retreats in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and Australia, creating spaces where souls can reconnect with themselves and the world around them. After living in Formentera island (a tiny Island in front of Ibiza, Spain), for three years, she is currently living in Byron Bay, Australia, working as yoga teacher and retreat specialist. For Alice, retreats are a mission of sharing wellness and health to the world and yoga is more than just a practice – it is a way of life, a journey of faith. It is the unwavering trust in oneself, in others, and in the ever-changing currents of existence. Just as the waves surrender to the shore, Alice embraces the ebb and flow of life with grace and gratitude, finding strength in the natural rhythms of the universe.
